There are four distinct seasons in the high country and Alpine
Gables is designed to embrace them all in comfort and style.
Whatever the season, though, you'll be glad you're at Alpine
Gables, where the staff are keen to help you plan your day and
enjoy your stay.
Alpine Gables and its friendly staff have you well-accommodated. The 42 spacious split level suites feature a balcony, and main bedroom on the upper level. Downstairs, your suite is well-equipped with its own kitchenette for self-catering or easy snack preparation, as well as a dining area and lounge, bathroom with full sized bath, TV and complimentary in-house movies. Many have a courtyard or balcony with magnificent lake to mountain views. To ensure everyone has a holiday, all linen is supplied and your unit is fully serviced daily. After a day in the mountains or snoozing by the lake, you'll find the sauna an inviting finish to the day's activities. Later, prepare a meal or a snack in your unit's kitchenette, enjoy a drink and dine in the popular bistro or spoil yourself and exercise your taste buds by dining out at one of Jindabyne's friendly restaurants. Alpine Gables is located just a village stroll from all of Jindabyne's many restaurants, cafes, and quality shops.
Alpine Gables is superbly positioned, right in the heart of Jindabyne. All of our cosy suites are split level, most with a private balcony or courtyard providing magnificent lake to mountain views. Other units have a pleasant, leafy outlook over the town.
After a hard day on the slopes, a scrumptious dinner has to feature high on your list of priorities. You'll find a great selection of tempting dishes in the Brumby Bar & Bistro located in the Alpine Gables building, where children are also welcome and well-catered for. During Peak & Shoulder seasons treat yourself to a hearty hot breakfast before heading for the slopes. Alternatively, you'll find that within just a short stroll of the motel there are numerous popular restaurants and cafes offering a wide variety of cuisine to suit whatever your taste and budget desires. If you prefer to dine-in but not cook yourself, you will find what you're looking for from one of the take-away or motel delivery services.
The 'Brumby Bar & bistro' is located within the complex. Its bistro has succulent steaks, a self serve salad and veggie bar. The Brumby Bar also has a nightclub that offers excellent entertainment with top bands and DJ's. Visit our blog alpinegables.blogspot.com or call for the current entertainment details
One of the attractions of the high country is its weather. In summer it can go from sublime to very chilly in just a matter of hours. You should always carry a jacket and hat on even the warmest days in Spring, Summer and Autumn. If you plan walking or enjoying activities on the lake, be sure to pack plenty of sunblock. Must-have items year-round are a hat, quality sunglasses, your camera and film. Bring strong shoes for off the beaten track and a day pack to carry all those little extras (perhaps even a bottle of wine for lunch).
